Zoom Meeting Settings – Joining and Leaving Sound Notifications

In order to enable or disable Zoom audible notifications that alert the Host when attendees wish to join the meeting, the host will need to adjust their Zoom Settings.

1. Open Chrome or Firefox and go to Zoom.us 
2. Sign in using the SSO sign-in method. Follow the prompts. 
3. Once signed in you will see your user profile, navigate to Settings. 
4. Scroll down to the Sound notification when someone joins or leaves options to enable/disable the notifications: 

• When attendees join the Waiting Room. An Audible alert Notifies meeting Host. 
• When attendees join the meeting. An Audible alert Notifies meeting Host. 
• When attendees leave the meeting. An Audible alert Notifies meeting Host. 

NOTE: To disable the notification, turn the switch off. The icon will turn grey.
