OneDrive allows you to share files and folders securely with specific individuals. This feature ensures that only the intended recipients can access the shared content, making it ideal for collaboration while maintaining control over your files.

Steps to Share with Specific People

1. Sign In to your CCRI email to access OneDrive.

  • Sign in to your CCRI email online and click the "Waffle" icon in the top left corner, as shown in the image below. Then, select the "OneDrive" icon from the menu.

2. Select My Files in the left side menu.

3. Select Files or Folders

  • In List View: Click the circle next to the item you want to share.

  • In Tiles View: Click the circle in the top right corner of the item.

Note: You cannot share multiple items simultaneously on OneDrive for work or school accounts.

4. Click on the Share Icon

  • Select the Share icon at the top of the page.

5. Enter Recipient Information

  • In the "Name, group, or email" field, type the email addresses of the specific people you wish to share with. You can select contacts from a suggested list that appears as you type.

6. Add a Personal Message (Optional)

  • Include a message to provide context or instructions for the recipients.

7. Send the Invitation

  • Click Send to share the link with the selected individuals.
