Description: How to connect Android devices to the wireless network at CCRI. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Android devices and Chromebooks can be tricky when connecting to the wireless CCRI network. If you run into any troubles connecting your devices, please contact the IT Help Desk at (401) 825-1112. 

How-to Steps:

  1. Open WiFi settings
  2. Select the network “CCRI_Community
  3. Under “EAP Method” select “PEAP
  4. Under “Phase 2 Authentication” select “MSCHAPv2
  5. Under “CA Certificate” select “Use system certificates
  6. Under "Online Certificate Status" select "Do not validate"
  7. Since MSCHAPv2 was selected, an option to specify a "Domain" will have appeared. Type "campus.ccri.edu"
  8. Under “Identity” type your CCRI username
  9. Under “Password” type your CCRI password
  10. Leave the “Anonymous Identity” section blank
  11. Tap “Connect

From here, you should be connected to CCRI’s WiFi!
