🛠 Troubleshooting Tips
-
Do not record narration in PowerPoint — use VT’s Comment tool
-
Save your slides as PDF before uploading for best results
-
Check browser microphone permissions if audio doesn't record
-
Narration must be added within VoiceThread, slide-by-slide
-
Known Issue for VoiceThread Assignments: VoiceThread’s LTI 1.3 integration performs its automatic course‑copy logic only once per destination course. This process is triggered the first time a VoiceThread link is accessed in the copied course. If additional VoiceThread activities are added to the original (parent) course after this initial launch, those activities will not be copied into the destination course. As a result, repeated or chained course copies may produce missing or orphaned VoiceThread links.
