Description: The user wants to display a Mac laptop screen on the projector.
How-to Steps:
- Locate an adapter that connects between VGA and a compatible port on the laptop.
- NOTE: If you don’t have an adapter, you might be able to borrow one from Classroom Support.
- Locate the unplugged VGA cable marked "LAPTOP" on top of the podium or desk and plug it into the adapter.
- Plug the adapter into the appropriate port on the laptop.
- Turn on the projector.
- On the KVM or Extron box, select number 2.
- If the laptop doesn't display from the projector:
- In the upper left corner on the laptop, click the Apple Menu.
- Click on System Preferences.
- Click on Displays.
- In the Displays window, click the Detect Displays button.
- NOTE: If that doesn't work, select the Arrangement tab,
- Check the Mirror Displays box in the lower left corner.
- Wait several seconds for it to take effect.
