This article is a rundown of how to use the technology in room 6314.
This room contains a touch screen system, known as a Crestron, that sends video and audio settings of the following systems:
7 computers, A document camera, laptop, and a Blu-Ray/DVD Player.
Body
Description: Room 6314 has 7 available computers for students to use with their own TV’s. As well as an instructor machine. The technology available to the instructor are all controlled through the touch screen panel called the “Crestron”.
How-to Steps:
Note:
- Each TV has a computer connected to it. The instructor will have access to the wireless mice and keyboards (they have labels) for the respective TV's.
Computer:
- Make sure the Instructor PC is turned on.
- If the computer is asleep, click on the computer's mouse & keyboard to wake it up
- Touch the screen on the "Crestron" panel to start.
- The system will then start powering on.
- The projector will turn on automatically as well as the screen lowering.
- Tap & Highlight on the “Classroom PC”.
Blu-Ray/DVD Player:
- Touch the screen on the "Crestron" panel to start.
- The system will then start powering on.
- The projector will turn on automatically as well as the screen lowering
- Tap & highlight on the "Video Aux" tab
- Tap "Select Blu-Ray" to display your DVD
Laptop:
- Plug in the available VGA cable into your laptop.
- If you don't have a VGA port available and require assistance please contact Help Desk
- Touch the screen on the "Crestron" panel to start.
- The system will then start powering on.
- The projector will turn on automatically as well as the screen lowering
- Tap & highlight on the "Video Aux" tab
- Tap "Select Laptop" to display your Laptop
Document Camera:
- Touch the screen on the "Crestron" panel to start.
- The system will then start powering on.
- The projector will turn on automatically as well as the screen lowering
- Tap & highlight on the "Doc Cam" tab
- Tap "Select Document Camera" to display your image on the Doc Cam canvas
