Screen Sharing in Zoom Application

The options for Screen Sharing in the Zoom Application are a little different than the Web Browser version.

You have the ability to share multiple windows at a time, a digital whiteboard, or also connect an iPhone/iPad. Hold CTRL while clicking your content to select more than one window to share.

When sharing multiple windows, you will see a green outline around the windows that are being shared which you can reposition these windows along side one another or toggle between them.

Sharing a Video in Zoom Application

When sharing a video, make sure "Share Sound" and "Optimize for Video Clip" are selected. Note: When "Optimize for Video Clip" is selected, the Speaker view(Host camera) will disappear while sharing a video clip. It will reappear to the participants once you stop sharing the video.

While sharing, you have the option to Stop or Pause your share, or start a New Share if you have additional content.

Advanced Sharing Options-  When you first open the Zoom application you also have the option to share content from a second camera( document camera, etc.), or just a portion of your screen.

While in the Zoom Application, If you click on the top corner arrow on the icon, you can access more Advanced Sharing Options. These options control who can share their screen during a session. Most often the host is the only one sharing, however if the session involves multiple presentations, this is where you can allow all participants to share their screens.
