Forgetting the Wi-Fi Network (All Devices)

This article will demonstrate how to forget the network on:

MacOS    iOS (iPhone / iPad)    Windows 10    Chromebook    Android: Google Pixel    Android: Samsung Galaxy   Windows 11

 

Forget Wi-Fi on MacOS:

  1. Open "System Settings" or "System Preferences", then click on "WiFi"Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  2. Click on "Details" next to the network name.

  4. Click on "Forget this Network ..."Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Forget Wi-Fi on iOS (iPhone / iPad):

  1. Go to Settings, then tap on Wi-Fi.

  2. Tap the blue "i" next to the network name.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Forget Wi-Fi on Windows 10:

1. Click the "Start" button in the bottom left corner of the screen, then select the "gear" icon to open Settings.

2. In the top right corner, select "Network & Internet".

3. On the left-hand menu, select "Wi-Fi".

4. On the "Wi-Fi" page, select "Manage known networks".

5. Locate "CCRI_Community" then forget the network (rework this after)

Forget Wi-Fi On Chromebook:

  1. Sign into your Chromebook.
  2. In the bottom right corner, select the time.
  3. Select Settings.

  6. Find the network you want to forget, then select “More” (three vertical dots).Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Forget Wi-Fi on Android: Google Pixel:

  1. Swipe down twice from the top of the screen to expand Quick Settings panel.

  4. Select “Wi-Fi” at the top of the list of options.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  5. Select “Saved Networks”. You will see every network you’ve connected your device to at one point.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. Select “CCRI_Community” from the list and click “Forget”. This network will be removed, and you can reconnect again.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Forget Wi-Fi on Android: Samsung Galaxy:

  5. Under “Advanced”, select “Manage networks”.

Forget Wi-Fi on Windows 11:

  1. In the bottom right corner of the screen, select the section with the "Wi-Fi" and sound icons.
