Webex - Joining Call Queues (Webex Client)

Description:

A call queue is a telephony feature used in call centers and customer service departments to manage incoming calls efficiently. When customers dial a specific phone number, their calls are placed in a queue until an agent becomes available to handle the call.

How-to Steps:

  1. If call queues are available for your specific department, you should see the following option(s) on the bottom left of your Webex application: Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  2. Select the option for Queues: Available Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  3. Next to your available queues, click the check box to join your desired queue: Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  4. A blue check next to the selected queue indicates that you are currently in the queue: Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    Please note: Joining a queue does not make you available to take a call. To take a call, you must switch your status to Available.
