Webex: Creating a Custom Voicemail Message

This is how you can change your voicemail message to a custom recording instead of the Webex Default

How-to Steps:

  1. Go to: https://user.webex.com/
  2. Login with your CCRI email address
  3. In the User Hub, Go to Settings (this is arrow 1. in the image below)
  4. Then, click Calling (this is arrow 2. in the image below)
  5. Finally, click Voicemail (this is arrow 3. in the image below)
  6. Scroll down to the Send calls to voicemail section
    • Send all calls to voicemail — This option forwards all calls to voicemail. 
    • Send calls to voicemail when the line is busy — This option forwards calls to voicemail when you’re already on a call. Switch the option on and you can choose to set up either a default greeting or a custom greeting.
      • To set the default greetings, select the Default message when busy option.
      • To set your own custom personalized greetings, select the Custom message option and click Upload File to upload your audio (WAV) file or click the Record Message to record the message.
    • Send calls to voicemail when no one answers — This option forwards incoming calls to voicemail after a specified number of rings. Switch the option on and select the number of rings before playing the greetings from the drop-down list. You can choose to set up either a default greeting or a custom greeting.
      • To set the default greetings, select the Default message when busy option.
      • To set your own custom personalized greetings, select the Custom message option and click Upload File to upload your audio (WAV) file or click the Record Message to record the message.
  7. Click Save to save any changes to your voicemail settings
